University Graduation
The proudest days in the St Andrews academic year.

Twice a year — in summer and again in late November — the University of St Andrews confers degrees in the Younger Hall, and the town fills with families from every corner of the world. For many, it's their first visit, often with elderly relatives, formal dress and tight ceremony schedules to keep.
Graduation creates a sharp, time-critical demand: families arriving from abroad the day before, all needing to be in formalwear at a fixed time, frequently with grandparents who can't manage buses and luggage. Hotels fill across Fife. A pre-booked, punctual transfer takes the single biggest stress out of the day.
The things that define the week.
Younger Hall ceremonies run to a strict schedule. Being late is not an option — punctuality is everything.
Guests fly in from across the world, often jet-lagged, formal and travelling with older relatives.
Families move between the Quad, the pier, the beach and dinner — a full day of short, smart hops.
How to arrive without the stress.
- Book your airport transfer the moment ceremony dates are confirmed.
- Allow buffer time on the morning — arrive at the Younger Hall relaxed, not rushed.
- Consider holding a vehicle for the day for photos around the Quad, pier and West Sands.
- Tell us about wheelchair or mobility needs; we'll send the right vehicle.
Questions.
Absolutely — many families do. We'll handle airport pickup the day before, the timed run to the Younger Hall, photo stops around town and dinner, all with the same driver.
